Note: The Modway Round Lounger and the Brentwood Patio Daybed are the exact same furniture, but under a different brand name. The only difference is the Modways costs a little less depending on the color you choose.
The Sojourn Daybed Compared to Other Round Loungers…
Compared to Costway’s round daybed with retractable canopy, the Modway costs significantly more. However, the cheaper version has thinner 2″ cushions (vs 4″), and it doesn’t feature the weather-proof Sunbrella fabric.
Furthermore, the chaise measures 15″ shorter in diameter, and the canopy is about 12″ shorter. Plus the small daybed can only hold 300 lbs (vs 800 lbs of the Modway).
In other words, you’re getting a much smaller lounge that won’t be able to accommodate as many people. However, if you have a small patio, don’t care about extra cushioning, pillows and color options, the Costway daybed provides a good way to save money.
